DigInfo - (http://movie.diginfo.tv) Kitanihon-Kakoh, a manufacturer of sushi conveyor belts, recently developed an order line system that works like sushi-conveyor belts used in restaurants. The system quickly and accurately delivers food orders to diners' seats on delivery trays. Diners can select entries by viewing images on a display and can then place an order using the touch panel screen. In addition, the system also allows diners to check the bill total and to pay at the cash register without any fuss. By incorporating this order line system, restaurants can dramatically cut personnel costs as well as costs resulting from order mistakes, long waits and food waste. The order line system maintains a record of all orders, which can be beneficial in forming strategic ideas for a restaurant's future. This order line system is ideally suited for use in sushi bars, Korean barbecue, Chinese restaurants and Japanese-style bars.
