What is going on with this blues side? Every time we put in a good performance it's followed up by a rubbish one!

Brentford visited Birmingham City at St Andrews on a cold Wednesday night and they showed they were definitely up for it. Much more than the BCFC players anyway.

The blues looked like they couldn't be bothered, and it's a shame to see after such a great performance against the Villa.

Cotterill said the players 'gave their all', well Steve, I think I speak for most blues fans when I say they didn't give anywhere near their all!

We started the championship campaign with hope and maybe even expectation - but that was soon extinguished with a mix of players no being able to gel, quick sackings, and a team of individuals on most match days.

As always, keep right on!
