In today's matchday vlog we are back at St Andrews in Round 2 of the Carabao Cup (League Cup). After the Burton Albion game, this was a lot more positive, even though the result was the same. Isaac Vassell again showed his quality and I think we would have won the game if he didn't have to come off.

Bournemouth held on through our first half storm, and with Harry Redknapp taking Vassell off at half time, we didn't look the same. Ryan Fraser scored within a minute of the second half starting and Marc Pugh scored a tidy winner with our defenders giving him too much time and space on the edge of the box.

Tomasz Kuszczak played very well and continues to put pressue on David Stockdale for a starting place in the league, Kieftenbeld got man of the match with a solid midfield performance, bagging a goal.

Cohen Bramall made his debut playing LWB in a 3-5-1-1 formation and his confidence grew throughout the game, showing his lightning pace and ability to get back into defensive positions quickly when needed. Wes Harding came on in the first half after Emilio N'Sue picked up and injury and he looked established at RWB, looks like it could be his breakthrough season.

Keep right on!
