TRRS 295: CSX Local D700 in Grandville : EPIC Snowpile Angle!

This winter has been officially worth it. We have seen MQT Z151 in epic driftbusting, and some other fantastic wintry angles. But even with the recent thaws, one epic wintry result remains: a gigantic, 15-foot snowpile in Grandville. This pile is the result of a super-snowy winter with little melting. It was once taller, but perched atop the same for the passing of CSX's D700, well that is just cool. This pile should endure several more weeks, and I'm hoping to bag Amtrak blasting through here in the morning. At any rate, here is CSX's D700 from atop the pile. They had taken a few cars west this morning, and came back lite so they conducted the Waverly Yard pickup. The 35-car cut includes cars from the Michigan Shore Railroad, Scrap from Padnos in Holland, and a few other assorted cars from industries around Holland and transloads in the yard. The train is going much slower than normal for an unknown reason. They paused before crossing both Broadway and Franklin for a few moments, but all the crossings were working fine, and no crew-members visibly left the cab...they stopped for a few minutes each time.
