CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Local philanthropist Lois Rosenthal has passed away. The longtime supporter of the arts died Sunday at the age of 75.

She and her husband, Richard, donated millions of dollars to the Cincinnati Art Museum in 2002. That donation allowed the museum to stop charging admission to guests.

She also supported the Cincinnati Cooks. That's a program that helps disadvantage people get on their feet by learning to work in food service. It's one of the many things the Rosenthals did to support the Freestore Foodbank.

The Rosenthal Foundation also supports the Ohio Innocence Project, the Contemporary Arts Center and the Uptown Arts Program.
