The Today Show promotes Boston's new NBC affiliate that will launch on January 1, 2017. The video clip, however, is from WJAR-TV in Providence, RI. The outgoing NBC station in Boston, WHDH-TV, did not air this portion of the Today Show, opting to air local news instead.

Note - I am not sure who the meteorologist is in this clip, she is a fill-in while Dylan Dreyer is on maternity leave. Also notice the shot of the program guide at the end of the video, indicating how WJAR is airing the Today Show but not WHDH.
