Amanda Seyfried stars in the astonishing true story of seventies porn star Linda Lovelace. Naive teenager Linda Boreman (Amanda Seyfried) lives with her strict religious parents (Sharon Stone, Robert Patrick) in 1970s Florida. Her life changes when she falls for manipulative, low-level hustler Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard). He coaxes Linda to New York, where she's introduced to porn director Jerry Damiano (Hank Azaria). Rechristened Linda Lovelace, she stars opposite fun-loving Harry Reems (Adam Brody) in the most notorious and lucrative pornographic movie of all time, 'Deep Throat'. She also becomes an enthusiastic champion of sexual liberation. But just six years later, Linda tells a very different story of coercion and abuse. She goes on to become a feminist heroine. Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, co-directors of 'Howl', have assembled an excellent cast to tell the extraordinary and controversial true story of the world's first major porn star.
