Confirmed twister in Clermont County, storm cleanup continues

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A storm caused widespread damage to Cincinnati's east side late Tuesday night into Wednesday, March 1.

On Locust Lake Drive in Pierce Township Carlon Addison's home was nearly destroyed by the severe weather. The living room was riddled with debris and the roof was completely gone.

Addison told Local 12 he was lying in bed asleep when the tornado came through his home. He said it sounded like a freight train when he woke up and made his way to the door frame of his bathroom.

Addison said he stayed low in the doorframe and claimed if he would have stayed in the bedroom he might have died. The bed was covered in debris.

A few other homes on the same street were badly damaged.
