I spend a lot of time watching you guys and it's really inspiring when musicians and bands are taking the advice and implementing these strategies. Some people are flying down the fast lane while others are struggling to even get in gear.

Today after a multitude of meetings and calls and messages I walked into the office to be greeted by everyone talking about Connor Wells (who has been featured on one of my FB revues previously) doing a competition to give away a guitar, one of his own guitars!

This is huge! This is ballsy and shows sacrifice and just how much he values his career and his audience. He didn't give away a CD which is already free to most people on spotify or just a performance.. He gave away a guitar that he has gigged with.

I talk a lot about risk and reward, about sacrificing for your career and about working hard to bring value to your audience and therefore showing the next/new audience how they would be valued if they jumped on board. Connor has done all of that in one video!

Massive respect to Connor for this. So who is following his lead, not in the past but now. Who is going to raise the bar from here and show their audience how much they are valued?

You have control! You have the ability to change and shape your career if you can be creative enough and ballsy enough to make these kinds of decisions and sacrifices regularly.
