http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Le Puy is the traditional start of the St. James de Compostela pilgrimage along with the Robert Louis Stevenson trail (Chemin de Stevenson) that we are attempting. But even without that, there are festivals, narrow streets, and photogenic 10th century sights to see. The two volcanic plugs are visually spectacular and I don't know how anyone ever was able to build on them.
