FAIRBORN -- Are you sick of it yet? Snowy, slippery roads, one week after the other. If you are starting to doubt your wheels on the road, you are not alone. At Valentine Buick GMC, Sales Manager Jeff VanGorder says there has been a spike in sales for all-wheel vehicles. If you've been around the Dayton area, we're not used to this weather which is why this is such a big deal that they want to make sure that they're safe in the all-wheel drive so we've seen a little more interest than usual, says VanGorder. VanGorder estimates sales are up 10 to 20 percent for all-wheel vehicles and it's enough interest, auto makers are offering incentives for people to buy this Winter, a traditionally slow time for car sales. General Motors is no stranger, they know what's going on. They want to put the extra incentives on the all-wheel drives as well through the whole country because everybody is facing this, says VanGorder. Liza Whittaker lives in rural Preble County and currently owns a front-wheel drive car. She says this winter has finally convinced her to make the change. I definitely will get one the next time I buy a vehicle, there's just no reason to not have it now, it's available on so many different things, says Whittaker.
