In Part 2, the conversation continues with Burnett during an important period in the growth of Super Wings NY.

The Crown Heights restaurant had developed a distinct identity by combining familiar chicken wings with flavors rooted in Trinidad and Tobago, including tamarind, jerk seasoning, Caribbean herbs and Super Wings’ signature Lava Sauce.

By 2011, Burnett’s story had expanded beyond a neighborhood restaurant. Super Wings had won recognition in Brooklyn and gained national exposure following Burnett’s victory over celebrity chef Bobby Flay on Food Network.

Together, the two surviving Julianspromos videos preserve a longer conversation with a Trinidad-born entrepreneur at a time when her business was gaining wider recognition in New York and across the United States.

For Julianspromos, the interview is also an early example of the platform documenting Caribbean culture beyond music and Carnival, highlighting the entrepreneurs and businesses helping shape Caribbean life in New York.
