ONTARIO, Canada (CNN) - An Ontario mansion that was under construction was trashed after a massive party with more than 1,500 people in attendance got out of control. It had all the makings of a party at a nightclub, but the scene came from a 5,000-square-foot mansion under construction in Brampton. "There was just kids coming in packs of 10, 20 literally no room to walk in the house," said Peel Regional Police Officer Thomas Ruttan. The party was so big that it began to trend on Twitter. By the time police arrived, there were 200 cars lined up and down the street. Teens were posing with cruisers and allegedly assaulted several officers. Officers from all all over the area responded to the scene. Police say several of the officers were assaulted leading to a number of arrests. Others were detained for public intoxication. The morning after this peaceful neighborhood is back to normal but the house looks like it survived a natural disaster. Windows were broken, stair railings were broken and the grounds were littered with beer cans and cellphones. In total, the party caused $70,000 worth of damage. Neighbors are still adding up the cost of any damage done to their properties and police are moving forward with the investigation. Officials say it is possible for the homeowner and her son to face charges. Follow us on Twitter @Local12 and LIKE us on Facebook for updates!
