Ukraine imposes martial law amid standoff with Russia

The Ukrainian parliament has supported a bill imposing martial law in certain regions of the country for 30 days starting on Wednesday morning. This came after Ukraine and Russia came to a standoff in the Sea of Azov after Russia seized three Ukrainian naval ships for allegedly breaching its territorial waters and conducted dangerous maneuvers.
