Great early-80s Chicago Deep on a label that released its first records in the mid-60s. I don't know anything about Lonnie Larry, but the producer, Lennie LaCour, was an old rock 'n' roll singer and a band called The Almighty Sonics produced a now collectable funk 45 - "Do The Bump / Watergating At The Bus Stop"

Lonnie has a slightly eccentric vocal style, but he's so soulful.
