NARCISSISTICS, not 'elitists'. Throughout human history there have always been elitists. There always will be elitist because there always will be a 1% by definition. But the real problems occur when the top elitists are narcissistic. In certain times in the past a real elitist leader led by example and endure more hardships than those he led. Today, we have more and more narcissistic people looking to rule over us strictly for their own benefit, even though they may talk the line of 'being the champion of the middle class' (for example, Hillary Clinton). The founders of this country warned us about people who seek power at the expense of the masses. That is why the government that governs least is the government that governs best. If someone wants to 'be the champion of the middle class' they can work hard and provide quality products at very low prices, rather than be a politician and lie to us all day.
