Teaching English in Korea -- The Application Process: Fingerprints for FBI Background Check

If you are applying to teach English in Korea, or anywhere pretty much, you will NEED to get your FBI Background Check done as soon as possible.  It should probably be the FIRST thing you do because it can take anywhere from 5 weeks to 12 weeks before you receive the results. 
3 things are required for an FBI Background Check:  the application form, a method of payment (money order, cashier's check, or credit card form. No personal checks or cash!), and a set of Fingerprints.
The first two are easy, I downloaded and printed out both the application form and a credit card form from the FBI Background Check web page. 
The Fingerprints was the only part that required me going out and doing it.  You need your fingerprints taken by a certified fingerprint technician, at either your local police station or a CJIS Fingerprint service office in your area. 
I went to a CJIS office, and the entire process took about 1 hour due to waiting times.
