Atleast 300 people in Kapsait village in West pokot county have been left homeless after they were evicted from their homes and their houses and property set ablaze due to clan wrangles over an 11.94 hectare piece of land. The land tussle between the families of the two clans led by Tong’elech Lokwanamoi the seller and Chemer Lochaling’a the buyer has been ongoing for more than 40 years. This is the second eviction after the first one occurred in 2015.
