Heavy rain all night turned the desert and little streams into a raging torrent of water gushing off the mountains, through wadis, unable to be absorbed quickly into the desert sands. The group was supposed to head towards Taroudant for one night but the roads were impassable. Traffic delays while vehicles became stuck in the middle of streams until a decision was made to drive up and over the high Ticha pass to Marrakech for one night, drive to Essaouira the next day and then return back to Marrakech. What can one do but literally, "go with the flow"...
