We left for our first day on Bald Head Island off the coast of North Carolina today! After a few hours of driving we popped onto a ferry and found ourselves at an amazing beach house surrounded by maritime forest!! 

A few trips in the golf cart later and we poked around the Ibis Reserve and wandered over the sand dunes to walk along the East Beach that hugs the Atlantic Coast!
