It is rather often that TV's some how stop working, but it is not end for them! Sometimes it is $1 fix, but it will take some time! 
On my video I am showing how to diagnose what is wrong with your TV, how to take a part it, how to find faulty elements and how to replace them! 

On this video I am replacing blown capacitors.  They are often causing problems to your tv, mostly it is when you are trying to turn on your tv, but it keeps turning off, so most probably it is because your tv capacitors are blown out.
You don't need to be super pro to replace them, you can do it at home with cost of just a few of them. E.g. mine capacitors in total cost $1.2 , I bought 4 2200uF 10V ones, and I replaced my previous ones within 1 hours (including recording). So do it by yourself if you are confident in yourself enough, but be aware that by doing it by yourself you can also easily make a lot bigger damage than it was, but if you will be accurate enough, you won't!
