http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com This Palace began construction in 1276 for James II of Mallorca. It is an important example of medieval, civil and military architecture in southern France. There are only a few sections to visit. The main courtyard, chapel, dining room and a few rooms. Extensive gardens surround the Palace with outstanding views of the mountains. The remainder was closed for restoration but the special exhibition on religion occupied us for quite a while. Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
