I'm possibly detecting extra-terrestrial (ET) and satellite communications with a triple-layer foil beanie hat. According to a 2005 study published by a group of computer scientists and engineers at MIT, wearing a foil hat may amplify high frequency (1.2 GHz) electro-magnetic frequency signals. Because this frequency band is used for satellite communications, I'm thinking that receiving signals from Comet Ison or outer space alien entities may be possible.

1.2 GHz is the bandwidth frequency for earth-to-satellite and satellite-to-satellite communication. I am hoping to detect some radio frequency from Comet Ison as it passes overhead around Christmas. DIY project, electromagnetic field (EMF), radio frequency (RF), very low and extremely low electromagnetic frequencies (VLF, ELF), and radio astronomy are topics of interest here.
