Lightning captured at 500fps on the back end of a severe thunderstorm that smashed Darwin and surrounds. Dubbed a 'Koolpinyah Special' by local storm chasers - this storm forms inland over Koolpinyah and surges towards the coast with above average lightning and torrential rain and gusty winds.
