http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Princess Wencheng was sent to the west to marry the Prince of Tufan and passed Mt. Riyue (Ri Yue) where she spend some time. A temple was built at the foot of Sun and Moon Mountain in her memory and is a big tourist attraction in the almost completely Tibetan area. A walk up to the top, huffing from the altitude, prayer flags fluttering, and fluffy white yaks waiting for tourist photo ops. By the way, they dye the yaks white to make them more attractive! Welcome to the Eastern Tibetan Plateau. Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
