Experiment #236: Specialty Energy Drink (Rated PG) Monster M3 sure packs a huge PUNCH for such a tiny bottle, and I did NOT see this one coming. Apparently there's a flaming aerosol can curse where if the microwave survives, it gets blown apart in the next experiment. I was looking for something to blow the door open in the microwave and instead it explodes with so much force that it blows the door completely OFF of the microwave, which means Erika's been finished off. Granted, she finished in MUCH better shape than Lindsay, but she's still the latest dead microwave. This has been a really lethal season for microwaves. Because I was not anticipating this kind of explosion, it's actually caught up close. What you're seeing is not special effects, it's the door hitting the camera and shutting it off. In a way, it's actually more impressive than the champagne bottle explosion. Now you know what the last thing you'd ever see if you microwaved something explosive would look like and you stood by to watch it. I was honestly expecting this to be another disappointment like the Ubermonster but it actually turned out to be easily one of my most successful microwavings ever. I was honestly not expecting much after the Ubermonster fail last spring, so I was surprised at how well it microwaved. Since the door didn't fly nearly as far as with the champagne and it didn't spew broken glass as far as the eye could see, I "only" gave it a deadly idea verdict. This also reminded me how tough Jareth is since this explosion wasn't as bad as the silly string but that merely blew his door open while this completely finished off Erika. Imagine what a beer bottle would've done to her. Season 6 of Microwave Me is filmed with a top of the line, state of the art digital camcorder shot in high definition. This show stars, as always, Matthew Villani as Captain Microwave and for this episode, a Daewoo microwave named Erika.
