- 4 tbs coarsely ground coffee

Mix coffee grounds and egg to become a slurry. Pour in HOT water and boil for 3 minutes. Let grounds settle and strain into pitcher or cup.
EGGS IN A CLOUD
- 2 eggs
- 1 small flour tortillia
- shreded parmesan cheese, salt and pepper
- baking parchment
- baking dish
- olive oil
Place flour tortilla and parchment in baking dish that has been lightly greased with olive oil. Break two eggs, separating yokes and whites. Whip the whites to form soft peaks and spoon over tortilla, forming divot in center. Place yokes in divot. Bake in F 360 oven until done. Season to taste with cheese, salt and pepper.
OATMEAL COOKIES:
- 1 packet instant oatmeal
- 1 equal quantity self-rising flour** as oatmeal
- 1 tbs cup sugar or honey (optional)
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 small egg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Mix ingredients together and form into drop cookies and baking parchment. If mixture is too thin, add additional flour. Bake in F 360 oven 10 minutes (or until done)
**To make your own self-rising flour, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
EGG DROP SOUP
- 2 to 3 tsp chicken soup seasoning/chicken bouillon
- 1 fresh egg
- 2 cups water
Heat water and chicken bouillon mixture. Break egg and slowly drip into boiling bouillon mixture. Stir and continue heating until egg is cooked.
SAVORY POTATO CAKE
- 3 small potatoes

- 1/3 cup self-rising flour
- 4 green onions
- 1 cup sour cheese

Peal and cut potatoes; boil until soft, drain and then mash. Gradually add 2 tbs olive oil, 2 egg yokes, 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup shredded cheese, 2 chopped green onions. Whip egg whites until soft peaks are formed; mix in 1/4 tsp cream of tartar; fold into potato mixture. Spoon mixture into cooking containers and bake at F 360 until done. Garnish with sour cream, shreded cheese and onions. Salt and pepper to taste.
CARDBOARD OVEN
Make the cardboard oven shown in this video from a corrugated cardboard box. Cut cardboard into two pieces: 12 in x 28 in rectangle and 9-1/2 in diameter circle. Glue heavy-duty aluminum foil to the cardboard with contact cement or white glue. Allow the glue to thoroughly dry for several days before using the oven. Cardboard insulation provides stable temperature control, that is much better an oven with only aluminum sidewalls. Use metal skewers as a baking rack. In this demonstration, I used BioFuel as the heat source. Alternatively, a can of Stereo, or charcoal in a fire bowl could be used. Do not heat cardboard ovens above F. 450 Do not expose cardboard ovens to direct flames of a campfire.
MAKE HAMMOCK SOCK
Use a frost blanket to make a hammock sock for winter backpacking. https://youtu.be/Qlb9d4r31yw Frost blankets are designed to keep plants from freezing in cold weathering. They also can keep hammocks warm, providing dead air space.
