This years Festival (held April 24-25, 2010) marked the events fifteenth anniversary, and over 130,000 authors, bibliophiles, booksellers, and publishers (plus a small nation of cute children) traveled from far and wide to attend panels, score bookish bargains, and gambol in the southern California sunshine. Several titles were irresistible must-pick-ups—regional favorites like L.A.'s Original Farmers Market Cookbook, L.A. Bizarro, and City Walks Los Angeles and instant charmers like Whats Your Poo Telling You?, the Finger Puppet Books, Alphabeasties, and the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Journal. And as if the crowds werent exuberant enough, a special visit from Paul Franks Julius really got the party started. High Fives all around!
