Azmin Undecided On Presidential Race

PKR deputy president, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said he has yet to make a decision on whether or not he will be going for the top post in the party upcoming polls end of August. His political secretary, Muhammad Hilman Idham however said his boss will not be contesting but will instead stand firm behind and support Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. When met at parliament lobby, Datuk Sri Mohamed Azmin remained coy on whether he would be gunning for the party's top post. Earlier PKR Wanita chief, Zuraida Kamaruddin was reported to have praised the former Selangor Menteri Besar as among the dynamic leaders who is capable of leading the party adding that he had a good track record in administering the state. Last Sunday, Datuk Seri Anwar announced that he will contest the post of president as promised by him to the people of Malaysia over 20 years ago. The decision he added was made after receiving the support from incumbent president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin himself as well as other party leaders.
