DRC cholera outbreak: Death toll from 2018 outbreak hits 857

In the DRC, 8-hundred and fifty seven people have died from cholera from the beginning of the year. This is according to the World Health Organization. Last year, the death toll stood at 1-thousand 1-hundred and ninety. Health authorities have so far recorded more than 25-thousand cases, occurring in 21 out of 26 provinces.
