A schoolgirl transformed into a boy overnight after leaving a note for his parents to say he's now to be known as Josh.

Josh Parsons, 14 - formally known as Sarah - told his mum, Lisa, and step-dad, Darren Nickolson, both 41, in a note that he had changed his name and gender.

And despite the initial shock, his parents fully supported his decision and Josh ditched all of his female clothes the next day and quickly told his peers at school about his transition.

After shaving his head and changing his bedroom into a masculine style, Josh is now happier than ever with his newfound gender.
