Consider for an example of a weighing system which is a segment of the manufacturing control system. The operator can follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the operations.

The system prevents raw material mix-ups by comparing the item to be weighed with the applied raw material inventory either visually or with bar codes and band weighing instructions are given on an on-site terminal based on the production schedule. Operators need only to follow the given instructions , for achievement control to be automatically implemented to improve efficiency.
