http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The small resort town of Qepara with its stony beaches appeared underwhelming compared to Himara and Saranda and upon investigation, was underwhelming. One small grocery store, a few restaurants, guesthouse and one Disco that could be heard a mile away. Walking up to Old Qepara perched on a mountain top made the one-night stay a little more interesting. Old Qepara could be considered "deserted" with only 20 families still remaining and living in stone houses surrounded by grape arbors and olive groves.
