This is the number of customers Vodacom has added, get this, in just six months.
The telecoms giant came out with first half results today.
It added 2.5 million customers in South Africa, while it added 2.3 million customers in its international operations.
Well Vodacom has had a busy first half of the financial year. 
It invested R4 billion in South Africa alone in the past six months.
And it says its reduced effective voice and data prices by 8.5% and 16.4% respectively.
The mobile giant completed the largest BEE deal in the ICT sector worth 17.5 billion rand and secured a deal with Telkom that will see the fixed line operator have the ability to roam on Vodacom's network. 
Still Vodacom's headline earnings per share, the main gauge of profits in South Africa, fell 13.5% during the period to 385 cents.
CEO Shameel Joosub says the costs associated with the BEE transaction concluded during the period had a once-off impact on the HEPS.
Vodacom's share price took quite a knock, it ended the day 7.7% in the red.
