Guildhall School of Music & Drama has a dedicated team of welfare and advice professionals. They are able to offer, or source where necessary, specialist help for a wide range of physical and psychological needs of young performing arts professionals, from help with injuries or disabilities to advice on study skills or counselling for emotional problems or performance- and exam-related anxieties. One student describes the team as being "like a family away from home".
