Thousands of people are expected to flock to beaches to shake off the excesses of Christmas Day. Camps Bay, Monwabisi and Strand beaches, among others are expected to be packed to capacity. Authorities say they will adopt a no nonsense attitude towards drinking as its a major source of drownings and as well as other safety measures while at the same time allowing holidaymakers to enjoy themselves.
