My cover of one of my favorite Who songs, "So Sad About Us." Tried to do it like my older videos, guitar-focused.

I used my Rogue VB-100 for bass, my own custom-made Telecaster (I built it), and a late 1960s Gibson ES-335/12 that I had the awesome opportunity to record with. The vocals are mainly 2-part harmonies with touches of 3-parts, but the secret is that they're all double tracked, giving it that Beach Boys vibe. Pretty darn sure The Who did it this way...at some points you're hearing 6 voices simultaneously. Amplifier was my '80s Fender Stage Lead II.

As for the drums, I created them bar-by-bar using Toontrack's EZDrummer 2 software, which I recommend everyone check out. To learn the drumtrack, I suggest watching this guy's video, as I used it to learn the track and I found his to be very accurate:

As for the guitar parts, you can learn the main part from this guy (he also has a great tutorial video). This is the part I play on the Telecaster and is what Pete pretty much does live. Mine has the additional of the 12-string filling out extra licks and doubling some parts. I hear a second guitar in the studio version, so I put one in. The bass is my best Entwistle impression.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks again everyone.
