Your vehicle is equipped with either intermittent wipers or the Rain Sensing Auto Wiper System. If your vehicle is not equipped with the Rain Sensing Auto Wiper System, please see your Owner’s Manual for more information.

The Rain Sensing Auto Wiper System, if so equipped, automatically turns on the wipers and adjusts the wiper speed depending on rainfall and vehicle speed.

This is the lever used to control the wiper system.

To set the Rain Sensing Auto Wiper System, make sure the ignition switch is in the ON position and then rotate the combination switch to this position for low sensitivity or this position for high sensitivity.

Be aware that even if it starts to rain, the wipers may not begin to function if rain is not directly hitting the rain sensor.

Rotate the combination switch to this position for a constant low speed or to this position for a constant high speed.

Push this button on the combination switch to clean the windshield and get a one-sweep operation of the wipers.

Rotate the combination switch to this position to turn the system OFF.

Place the rear wiper switch in this position to wipe the rear window and at the same time spray it with washer fluid. After you release the switch, the rear wiper switch returns to the intermittent wiping position. Placing the switch in this spot turns the intermittent wiping off. Pressing this switch down past the OFF position, sprays washer fluid on the rear window and cycles the rear wiper several times. Release
the switch to return it to OFF.
