Rinpoche starts by recalling the benefits of making even a tiny offering to holy objects, only to compare those benefits with the ones we get by the mere thought of benefiting sentient beings. Rinpoche mentions a quotation on Bodhichitta from Bodhicharyavatara, where is clearly shown that the mere thought of benefiting a single sentient being, surpasses skies of offerings done to all the buddhas. It is really amazing how easily we can cultivate the extraordinary bodhichitta mind.
