Beautiful "Old West" scenery from the fifth day of my 2017 trip. A small corral, a lonely windmill, a few cattle, and lots of glorious, wide-open space! This well is in eastern California, just west of the Nevada state line. Nearby is the site of a small mill for processing ore from a local mine. The mill is long gone, with only scant traces remaining.
