http://www.homebuildingandrepairs.com/books/index.html Just because a contractor doesn't have a business address doesn't mean that he's scamming you. Find out why your contractor doesn't have a business address by asking him one simple question. Why don't you have a business address? If you feel like the contractor isn't being honest with you then find another contractor, but if you feel comfortable with this contractor, why wouldn't you use them. Make sure that your contractor is licensed and that you have an address and telephone number to his current residence. If your contractor is living in a small trailer or staying in a hotel, you might not want to use them, however if your contractor's living in an apartment, with another person or even a family member and seems like a responsible person, the choice is going to be entirely up to you. I'm not telling you that you should use a contractor without a business license, but don't count these people out.
