There's anger from various quarters over the Gauteng ANC's decision not to suspend the party membership of former Health MEC's Qedani Mahlangu and Brain Hlongwa as recommended by its integrity commission. The commission also recommended that they no longer hold public office. Hlongwa resigned as ANC Chief Whip in the Gauteng Legislature earlier today. Mahlangu - tainted by the Life Esidimeni tragedy - resigned as Health MEC in February last year. Both remain members of the Provincial Executive Committee. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
