CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Barbie has ruled girls' Christmas wish lists for years, but this year she'll have to "let it go" as the song says. For the first time in the history of an influential toy survey, the number one pick for girls is merchandise related to "Frozen" -- the 2013 Disney movie which became the most successful animated film ever. The National Retail Federation says at least 20 percent of parents plan to buy "Frozen" gifts for their daughters. Lego toys are the most popular choice for parents of boys.
