Police confirmed that the nomination process of the 14th General Election today went smoothly nationwide without any untoward incidents or provocations from political party supporters. Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said all party supporters supporting their candidates at the nomination centres adhered to the orders outlined by the police and the Election Commission. (Soundbite of Datuk Zainal Abidin Kasim/Kedah Police Chief Subtitle: Action was taken because they were flying (the drone) in a restricted area. There were many people surrounding the area beneath the drone, which makes it an offence. If the drone was flown somewhere else, maybe it wouldn't be an offence but when it is flown close to the public, it becomes an offence.)
