Nine people have been killed in head on collision involving a minibus taxi and a bakkie in Ladysmith in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Traffic authorities say the driver of one of the vehicles lost control and veered off the road onto oncoming traffic. Several other people sustained injuries and have been rushed to nearby hospitals.
