Josh Jackson has been unleashed. The Suns weren't trying to win at the beginning of the year, but now they're not trying to win AND they don't have Devin Booker, so Jackson gets to do whatever he wants now. No threat of getting benched, no other offensive options to take touches away from him, this is his team now. And he's taking advantage.

He's scored in double-figures almost every game since March, coincidentally the Suns lost all those games anyway, and he's been scoring even more recently. 20 shot attempts is not unusual for him anymore, and he's showing he can take any type of shots he wants. Stepback midrange jimbos are just about the worst shot in basketball, but he's honing his craft in that area, and the results are impressive.

For this first time in forever, one of his scoring performances actually resulted in a Suns victory, only their second since January (????). I don't think I realized how pathetic they are right now, damn. And they almost choked this one away too. Sheesh.
