Flooding has hit the north-west, causing disruption and road closures in some areas. This video shows the local brook surging and a flooded road which caused a number of vehicle breakdowns throughout the day. The situation is much worse elsewhere in the country, particularly in Yorkshire along the River Ouse. However, the areas I filmed in today were officially under flood warnings too, at the time.
