Just a few things I was playing around with today, a d-latch made from a repeater powering it's self (EDIT: Apparently commonly called a "Bazil flop") and a piston to break the circuit and latch to a new value. I apologize for the mic it didn't turn as well as I thought so I'll go back to my good ol' reliable wired mic :). I got the idea of using the repeater powering it's self from aj_s on the Minecraft forums with his compact bidirectional shift register: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/736138-very-compact-bidirectional-shift-register/ and adapted it to a D-latch. It can also be used as a RS latch as well but doesn't offer much over the basic two torches other than an instant set time, since it needs a piston to break the circuit to reset.
