New-Born Found In Toilet Bowl At Petrol Station

We begin the bulletin tonight with a new-born baby who was found in the toilet bowl of a petrol station at Rawang north bound R&R. The 2.6 kilogram baby boy, was discovered in the female toilet by the cleaning supervisor last night. According to Gombak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ali Ahmad, the baby was discovered with his umbilical cord still attached. He was also wrapped in batik cloth when he was found at 9.30 pm. Initial checks found that the new born did not have any injuries and was then brought to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for futher treatment. The case is being investigated under the Penal Code for exposure and abandonment of a child under 12-years-old.
