The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) wants the land on which Weston Hotel is built recovered. The controversy surrounding ownership of the land on which Weston Hotel,  associated with  Deputy President William Ruto sits, remains unresolved. KCAA lodged a complaint with the National Lands Commission saying the property was irregularly acquired from the agency and they now want the transaction reversed.
